This role is responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support product development and quality assurance for snacks and functional foods. Day-to-day tasks include preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording and analyzing test data, and ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with internal protocols and regulatory standards. The Food Lab Technician collaborates with product development, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, validate formulations, and help maintain consistent product quality. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized lab environment, and assisting with the implementation of new testing methods or process improvements.Qualifications Proficiency with laboratory equipment and tools used in food testing and analysis.Strong laboratory skills and practical experience working in a food, chemical, or microbiology lab environment.Quality control knowledge, including sampling procedures, test verification, and documentation for food products.Analytical skills for interpreting test results, identifying deviations, and supporting data-driven decisions.Experience working as a laboratory technician or in a similar technical support role.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Understanding of food safety principles, GMP, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, HACCP) is beneficial.Ability to follow written protocols, maintain accurate records, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail, reliability in performing repetitive tasks, and willingness to learn new methods and technologies.#J-18808-Ljbffr
