In this role, you will support the cleaning process for railcars by using chemical cleaning methods, water purging, and blasting equipment to prepare railcars for maintenance and repair work.This role is part of a hands-on operations team where safety, quality, and attention to detail are essential. You will help ensure railcars are properly cleaned, equipment is maintained, and work is completed efficiently in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.What you'll do: Purge railcar surfaces using water and/or approved non-hazardous chemicalsOperate hand-held blasting equipment and other cleaning tools as assignedMaintain, clean, and troubleshoot equipment and the surrounding work areaFollow all safety rules, procedures, and work instructions while performing essential job dutiesWhat you'll need: Minimum of 1–2 years of related work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, cleaning, or similar hands-on environmentAbility to follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures, and safety requirementsAbility to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting as required by the job, working at heights, and working in dark, confined spacesWillingness to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all safety and environmental practicesDependable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work as business needs requireEOE Trinity Industries, Inc., and its subsidiary or affiliated companies (hereinafter “Trinity”) are committed to equal employment opportunity.
