The NAACP is looking for highly ambitious candidates for our State Advocacy & Growth Director positions. The State A&G Director leads statewide advocacy and organizational efforts, overseeing strategic planning, program execution, and partnerships to advance the organization's mission. This role involves managing state or multi state-level initiatives, supporting local units, and ensuring alignment with national priorities. The State Executive Director works closely with community leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to build coalitions, enhance advocacy impact, and drive membership growth across the state. This is a 3-year grant funded position.
The State Advocacy & Growth Director will work and coordinate directly with NAACP Field Department on program strategy for all statewide and centrally managed Field Advocacy efforts. The State A&G Director will be under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Unit Advocacy & Effectiveness and the National Advocacy Directors.
