New York Institute of Technology's Jonesboro, Arkansas campus is seeking a Delta Care-A-Van Driver. Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Delta Population Health Institute,the driver is responsible for safely transporting the mobile health unit to designated service locations and supporting the delivery of community-based healthcare services. This role plays avital part in ensuring the successful operation of mobile wellness events and outreach initiatives across the region. Responsibilities. Drive the mobile vehicle to the screening site where healthcare services are being offered. Ensure that the vehicle is properly maintained. Ensure that the vehicle is clean and has gasoline. Dispose of hazardous waste after every wellness site visit conducted by the mobile clinic. Work with the Program Coordinator/ Manager to determine schedule. Hours will primarily fall in the afternoon to early evening, and there may be occasional weekends or outlying hours.
