PositionSummary

Being a part of our international faith-based organization you will be focusing on how to solve niche problems with bespoke software solutions. You must be a strong communicator who is effective at working with a team to be able to deconflict elaborate problems to achieve the desired outcome. This is a volunteer/supported position and a member of the Information & Digital Technologies team reporting to the Systems Manager.

Position Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
