Career Custodian

Trinity Rail is hiring a Career Custodian at our Jonesboro plant. Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. The Career Custodian position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you'll keep building and work areas in a clean and orderly condition performing any combination of duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing, cleaning, and removing trash from building and work areas. You will perform minor and routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning light fixtures, changing light bulbs, and replacing necessary components. You will maintain grounds by mowing, watering, edging lawns, planting, and trimming flowers, shrubs, and trees, as well as any other duties that may be assigned.

In this role, the Career Custodian will be expected to comply with all company safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations. This includes maintaining and completing all required records, following all safety rules and practices. This position may be involved in safety committees, or initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Custodian experience with demonstrated proficiency in office, manufacturing environment, and/or maintenance facility preferred.
• Ability to read and write
• Effective communication skills
• Basic computer skills to include MS Office Suite
