Join the LEGO® US Merchandising team as a part time Senior Retail Merchandiser and provide outstanding merchandising in some of our biggest US retail customers. Core Responsibilities

The LEGO® US Merchandising team has delivered Outstanding service at the store level for over 30 years. As a part time Senior Retail Merchandiser in a field-based territory, you will be tasked with communicating and establishing relationships with store management and key decision makers to complete LEGO® US merchandising priorities.

  • Visual Merchandising: Expertly displays products in an attractive manner to maximize sales and enhance customer experience at the shelf. This includes arranging products, creating compelling displays, and implementing merchandising guidelines provided by TLG.
  • Planogram Implementation: Executes planograms in accordance with company standards and promotional plans, ensuring optimal product placement and visibility.
  • Inventory Management: Monitors inventory levels, conduct in-store inventory audits, and coordinates with store managers to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet customer demand and prevent stockouts.
  • Promotional Activities: Successfully executes promotional activities and marketing campaigns, such as product launches, seasonal promotions, and special events. This involves setting up promotional displays, distributing marketing materials, and actively engaging with customers to drive sales and brand loyalty.
  • Relationship Management: Builds and maintains positive relationships with market managers, store managers, and staff to ensure collaboration and cooperation in implementing merchandising strategies. Supports Sales Representatives with strategic initiatives, including customer trade shows, region-specific sales opportunities (district meetings, market runs, planogram sets), and brand ambassador events.
  • Customer Engagement and Product Demonstration: Acts as a brand ambassador by passionately representing the LEGO® brand in all interactions. Engage with shoppers, conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of LEGO® Product, communicate product value, and create memorable experiences that foster brand loyalty.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyzes sales data, store performance metrics, and merchandising effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate findings and propose actionable recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Provides training and support to store staff on merchandising best practices, product knowledge, and promotional initiatives. Conduct training sessions, host market runs, support planogram development, and offer ongoing coaching to empower team members.

In this key role, you will lead impactful merchandising strategies within your designated U.S. market, aiming to boost sales and elevate the overall customer journey while achieving ambitious business targets.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must live within 20 miles of Bentonville, AR
  • Ability to work day time business hours. Current schedules are flexible with availability M-F, between 7am - 6pm (20 - 24 hours a week)
  • Retail and Merchandising Experience: 1-3 years of experience in retail merchandising or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with customers and collaborate with team members.
  • Results-Oriented and Detail-Oriented: Must be results-driven and detail-focused, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time effectively.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills to effectively demonstrate products and communicate their value to both customers and retail partners.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and manage change efficiently, proactively, and positively.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
  • Transportation and Travel Requirements: Must have access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, proof of car insurance, and a good DMV record. Willingness to travel locally within the territory, including some overnight stays as required, which may vary by territory.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and climb a ladder up to 10 feet as needed for product displays and merchandising tasks.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $46,991.00 - $70,487.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
