Base pay range
$82,000.00/yr - $123,000.00/yr

Join our dynamic team as a Permanent Manufacturing Process & Packaging Engineer. This role focuses on overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, from conception to completion, with an emphasis on food manufacturing. Responsibilities include developing and implementing process strategies, managing safety protocols, meeting performance targets, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing process strategies to meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced to high standards of quality and safety.
- Implement and manage safety protocols to ensure staff well-being and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and manage performance targets to meet or exceed goals.
- Collaborate with production to develop scheduling strategies and optimize resource use.
- Oversee the packaging process, ensuring high-quality and safe packaging.
- Implement and manage cost-effective strategies to complete projects within budget and contribute to profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Continuously review and improve manufacturing processes and packaging strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
- Experience in managing safety protocols and meeting performance targets
- Proven track record in developing and implementing scheduling strategies
- Strong understanding of cost management and budgeting
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Problem-solving, strategic and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate across departments
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team
