E-911 Dispatcher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated E-911 Dispatcher to join our team. As an E-911 Dispatcher, you will be responsible for answering emergency calls, gathering information from callers, and dispatching emergency responders to the scene. You must be able to remain calm under pressure, have excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Answer emergency calls in a prompt and professional manner
• Obtain essential information from callers, such as location, nature of emergency, and any other relevant details
• Dispatch emergency responders, such as police, fire, and EMS, to the appropriate location
• Use computer-aided dispatch systems to track and communicate with emergency responders
• Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers to help ensure their safety and the safety of others
• Stay up-to-date on emergency response procedures and protocols
• Coordinate with other agencies and departments as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all calls and dispatch activities
• Provide support and assistance to emergency responders as needed
