Join us in Jonesboro, AR as a Production Planning & Procurement Specialist and become the connector between purchasing strategy and shop-floor execution. Your work ensures our schedules run smoothly, suppliers deliver reliably, and inventory supports demand without excess.

A day in this role

You start by reviewing ERP dashboards to check open POs, inventory positions, and upcoming demand. You adjust purchasing plans to protect the production schedule, then huddle with the production team to remove bottlenecks and fine-tune run plans. Midday, you negotiate with suppliers for better terms and lead times, address any performance issues, and update stakeholders. You wrap up by preparing concise reports on inventory health and purchasing activity for management.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain purchasing plans that align with production schedules and inventory targets.
• Partner with production to streamline processes and drive efficiency improvements.
• Leverage ERP software to manage inventory, track orders, and analyze buying trends.
• Forecast demand and adapt buying strategies to prevent overstock and shortages.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers to optimize cost and reliability.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues promptly.
• Create and present reports on purchasing activity and inventory status to leadership.
