Start at $16.25/Hour. Regular reviews for raises every 4 months until top-out. Direct hire with excellent benefits. This is for Paragould Plant on 2nd Shift, 3:55 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. Opportunity for advancement and training. We do offer an extra 75 cents an hour for hours worked between 7 PM and 7 AM. This 75 cents plus the $16.25 puts the starting pay at $17/Hour.

Anchor's B Shift is a 12-hour shift, working 6:55 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday night. That's 4 shifts one week, followed by 3 the next.

PURPOSE

To perform the packer duties and requirements in a safe, organized, and efficient manner while delighting customers with quality products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Package product according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), work instructions, specifications, and quality docket.
  2. Conduct visual quality inspections of products and report deficiencies before being packaged.
  3. Place the product that meets specifications in the box or gaylord.
  4. Tape, label, and stack boxes on pallets for material handler pickup.
  5. Maintain housekeeping of the packing station and related areas.
  6. Follow and maintain all safety policies and critical safety behaviors.
  7. Assist the operator whenever needed in start-up or shut down of the line.
  8. Perform job duties compatible with the standard rate of production.
  9. Must communicate with operators and leaders promptly.
  10. Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
  11. Other duties as assigned by the division's group leader, supervisor, or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Ability to learn quickly and maintain knowledge from the core training program.

  3. Be able to lift 50 pounds above the head.

  5. Must be able to make quick decisions on product quality and communicate issues effectively up the chain of command.
  6. Must be able to maintain speed on all production/packaging lines and perform essential duties and responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Must have a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Minimal computer skills required. Need the ability to access documents located on an in-house computer system
