Legal Assistant - Jonesboro Office

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Legal Assistant - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running. If you're a natural organizer, a skilled communicator, and enjoy making things happen behind the scenes, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do:

• Be the backbone of our legal team by providing top-notch administrative support to attorneys.
• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence with precision and polish.
• Prepare first drafts of memos, letters, and reports - helping keep cases moving forward.
• File pleadings and motions with the courts and track deadlines like a pro.
• Welcome clients, answer and direct calls, and keep everyone informed and organized.
• Manage calendars, organize case files, and follow up on tasks to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

What You Bring:

• At least 3 years of professional office experience and/or 1 year of legal experience.
• Strong written communication skills - you can craft professional memos, letters, emails, and more.
• Confidence with Microsoft Word, Outlook, OneDrive, and basic Excel.
  (Bonus points for WordPerfect or document management software experience.)
• Sharp organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively under deadlines.
• Keen attention to detail - you catch errors others miss!
• A friendly, professional demeanor and ability to build good rapport with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
• Comfortable working independently in a quiet, focused environment.
