Education Graduation from High school with some advanced technical training. Experience Requires on-the-job training to become familiar with department procedures. Prefer health related field experience and/or allied health sciences with demonstrated knowledge in medical terminology, alphanumeric filing, knowledge of computers, copiers, and fax machines. Good communication skills. Experience with EMR preferred. Physical This position requires being seated at a computer monitor almost 95% of the time. A small amount of physical work which may include lifting a maximum of 10 pounds. Normal hospital environment. Close eye work and hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates computer and standard office equipment, and scanners. Occasional walking, bending, and climbing.
