Job Details

The Central Supply Tech fulfills departmental needs by filling stock requisitions and preparing stock items for patient care, provides in-coming and out-going mail service. Unloads freight as shipments arrive into department. Applies patient charge tags correctly and stocks shelves according to itemnumber. Fills store requisitions and product requests from departments. Periodically cleans shelves and monitors expiration dates of products to ensure a safe and clean department. Provides customer service to others entering department. Sorts and distributes incoming mail among departments and staff. Assists with maintaining established departmental policies and procedures for quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards. Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent required • On the job training will be provided, prior experience in similar field preferred. • Cross training is provided and strongly encouraged for all C.S. techs to fill in as others' absences requires
