Job Objective/Summary: The Cook is a key player on our Food Services team. The cook responsible for preparing and cooking great tasting meals. The cook follows a daily menu and confers with management team when menu changes are required. The cook also works with the Director of Food Services to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained. The cook will also assist other Food Services team members with cleaning of the cafeteria, kitchen and dish room.
Job Educations, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. On the job training provided to learn the policies and procedures of the hospital/nursing home and the department.
